Going back to last century, the first shuttles we ever organized were for Middlebury Colleges summer Language School Programs. As a result, we've met some truly interesting people. Most come for professional advancement, but some attend in order to achieve a personal goal like learning their ancestral tongue so they can return to the old country and visit -mostly unencumbered- in the tongue of their relatives who never left. Simply put, we're pleased we gave it a go.

What You Need to Know

You will be greeted upon your arrival and you won't be bothered with waiting lists, as Jessica's only offers reserved seating. Meaning, we operate on a first-in first-out basis.

Budgetary Tip: Those traveling Via Amtrak should consider utilizing The Vermonter because it is the only Amtrak Station convenient for adding on to Airport Shuttles. Which tends to account for the bulk of those who are not driving to campus. The same is true of the Greyhound Bus Station in Burlington, Vermont.

1) You WILL NOT be Stranded

...neither at BTV, nor once we get you to campus: we will look after you, promise! Arriving After Orientation hours? Jessica's has always waited while you check-in, get your keys -at Public Safety- and then deliver everyone as near as physically possible to the entrance of their dorm/lodging. After your journey(& most unfortunately, missing the Orientation Refreshments spread), anything else would be a disservice.

2) We Flight Track
You ONLY need contact Jessica’s IF...
your Flight Number and ETA is changed. If you do not apprise us of such changes, we will be unable to track your flight, keep this simple for you, or honor your reservation.

3) With Your Query or Reservation
...you will be supplied any additional information you may require plus some.

4) Read How We Play here or here or here.

Hint: make your reservation early, let us worry about the details, we’ll take great care of you. Promise!

Thankfully, there is No English Spoken Here. Why? Besides the fact immersion works. Because, it makes for a listeners delight, what with the differing lilts and dialects criss-crossing campus paths. And talk about adding flavor! As Middlebury is the seat of an otherwise predominantly agricultural county, it makes for a delightful cacophony come Saturday morning's Farmer's Market on Middlebury's Village Green. Thanks for spending your summer with us.

A few Memorable Photos from 2007
Quite fortunately, I was treated to about 20 minutes of this young man's training session. This took place in the Lang/Kelly breezeway of Ross Commons. And yes, he is balancing on the railing while juggling.

A barefoot and shirtless young man gaining -upon one foot- his balance on the diagonol hand railing in the breezeway between Kelly and Lang Halls of the Ross Common Dorms.

The same young man standing still on the diagonal portion of the railing. He had walked up and was then working his way back down.

Having dismounted at the bottom, he is now remounting the small horizonal portion of the breezeway railing. However, now he has three croquette sized red balls.

This shows him successfully juggling the three red balls while standing on one foot on the diagonal portion of the railing.

In this the final photo he has juggled his way to the top of the breezeway railing, turned and has returned to the bottom with a bit of teetering along the way. It was quite good fun to stumble upon.

* Welcome in Navajo:)
